Verso Paper Corp. produces a high quality Northern Bleached Hardwood Kraft (NBHK) Maple pulp at its Quinnesec, Michigan mill. A large portion of this production is used by the Quinnesec mill in the manufacture of coated freesheet paper grades. All remaining production is sold as Quinnesec Hi-Maple Hardwood Pulp.

Quinnesec Hi-Maple Hardwood Pulp is ideally suited for a variety of applications, including

The fiber's excellent formation, smoothness, opacity and cleanliness are ideally suited for the most demanding printing and writing grades, while its unique morphological characteristics make this pulp suitable for many specialty and technical grades. Additionally, tissue manufacturers value Quinnesec Hi-Maple Hardwood Pulp for its special contribution to softness. The fiber is easy to refine and performs well when refined independently or in combination with softwoods.
